I wanted to work on the board last night. However, the email server was not working, and it always used to in the past.
As it turns out, ISPs are blocking port 25 for email, and they implement the block without telling anyone. Three hours of testing and reading FAQs on the new server before realizing it's not their problem.
It also explains the email problems I had with dot5. So, they were erasing files, lying about it... screwing up unix permissions... and then my ISP started blocking port 25 sometime in June.
There goes a guy's day.
