honesty.org banner info (it's temporary)
[please note: as the site evolves, much of my input of a personal nature
will
diminish
so that we can concentrate on the work itself, and not character issues]
It is my personal belief that those of us who have retained a conscience in life are obligated to oppose the stupidity and the criminality of the greedtards with the same level of dedication and fanaticism that the infamous "Nazis" had toward fighting their enemies.
What I am saying has absolutely nothing to do with racism, hatred, violence or any form of criminal activity whatsoever. I am merely stating, that those of us who are concerned about being honest should be as serious about this issue as any militant force ever was or will be. Actually, we should be even more serious. And that seriousness requires of us that we work to counteract the greed based evil in the world with methods that are moral, ethical, and of integrity.
We must be as disturbing to the festering forces of greedtardation and stupidity as the great reformers of the past ever were. In actual fact, we must do more if we can, and finally bring about genuine world change. A new global paradigm. An honest global paradigm, for the first time in millenia.
While paging through a book about World War II, I realized that the cross section of the battleship 'Bismarck' would fit nicely as a banner backdrop, and it would allow me to explain a couple of subjects that I have found to be quite uncomfortable, especially in regards to my own personal thought processes.
Martin Luther, like Savonarola before him shook the world with his moral convictions. Historical Protestantism was responsible for keeping the religious philosophies of the west in check for some four hundred years. The era was anything but perfect, but certainly better than unrestrained tyranny with no differences of opinion.
The Nazi battleship Bismarck, took it's namesake from the Protestant Otto Von Bismarck, and I suspect that ship was sacrificed on sort of a suicide mission at the onset of WW2 to demoralize the Protestants of Germany, and the world at large.

Nevertheless, I believe we should be as horrifying to the forces of greedtardation, as the doomed battleship was in the fall of 1939. Stupidity won that war, and the corporations have been trying to monopolize the world ever since. I think we can all do better and restore the world back to a state of fairness so that we might evolve to a much better level than any state of existence to be had via greed and selfishness.
Greed is the destroyer of cooperation and well-being, and therefore none of its champions have ever been, or will ever be winners. The tycoons of the world do not have it all, they simply do their best to monopolize what little wellness there is to be had from a bad planetary situation. It is up to we the people to decide whether or not we are going to restore our dignity and return to a better state of existence or not. However, if we remain selfish and attempt to emulate the criminal activities of the world's tycoons, our future will not be pleasant.
The future is what we make of it, and therefore we must not fall prey to defeatism, apathy, and a lethargia. We must also stop making excuses for the way things are, and offering explanations for why change can't be accomplished. We have to concentrate on determining how to see to it that things can work. The better world we all seek is available, but without exception it's attainment is barred from the lazy and the apathetic.
Figure out not what you cannot , but rather what you can do to make a difference. Every attempt to do what is best and just counteracts evil.

P.S. The banner is just temporary, and I'll probably change it as the site becomes useful for other purposes. Right now it just illustrates the dismal struggle we face in a world full of apathy. The planet shouldn't have problems, but it does. Collectively, the people have placed their faith in greed rather than common sense and we're going to be paying the price until we smarten up. |
